The Digital - Ecommerce Manager will lead and execute all branding, digital marketing and Ecommerce activities, working cooperatively with Corporate Team in addition to General Managers, and Digital Agencies to achieve and exceed the company's financial goals.   Portfolio of hotels include Marriott, Hilton and IHG.


Job Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

  • Manage optimization and execution of website, social media platforms, OTA's, search engines and SEO.
  • Audit all channels regularly to insure optimization, ranking, and content.
  • Assist hotels in leveraging brand channels to communicate hotel and cluster programs and offers while aligning with brand initiatives and guidelines.
  • Work closely with property and support team to leverage ecommerce campaigns using OTA's (including Pay per click), brand programs, social media and various marketing campaigns.
  • Develop strategies for and manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitors the use of corporate e-Tools on behalf of hotels.
  • Manage and coordinate reputation management including responses to online reviews and ranking improvement strategy.
  • Ongoing training and development to stay up to date with Search Engine Optimization, Digital Marketing trends, methods, brand systems, etc.
  • Create, send and track reporting for various campaigns and platforms to communicate performance and ROI to hotel teams and stakeholders. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, brand performance reports and brand promotions.
  • Participate in the development of strategies to support ecommerce functions for the hotel both short and long term.
  • Manage and coordinate hotel photography including shot lists and publishing on various online channels.
  • Manage all aspects of hotel links to properties from outside websites and linking opportunities.
  • Assist hotel sales teams with group landing pages, res-links, and other account specific online channels to increase revenues.
  • Direct, educate and assist property teams in digital practices and training pertinent to their job role.
  • Conduct digital strategy calls with hotels as means to communicate, develop, and train on the aspects of digital strategy.




Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven track record developing digital marketing strategies and creating content for online campaigns, including SEO/SEM, paid search and/or social media management
  • Familiarity with major hotel brand website configuration, third party booking software and other various customer-facing, digital communication channels, I.e. TripAdvisor, Expedia, Yelp, and others.
  • Past eCommerce responsibilities and demonstrative experience with tracking growth and generating analytical reporting to inform upper management
  • Experience with managing campaign budgets and advise ongoing investment in online campaigns
  • Experience in community-building and engagement in relevant social media channels a plus
  • Both creative and analytical capabilities managing multiple brand entities and key hotel markets
  • Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of a brand voice to develop and execute effective messaging and content relevant to campaign goals
  • Collaborative experience between departments and project management skills; ability to supervise support team and duties
  • Ability to identify innovative ways to use social media platforms and marketing techniques
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Analytical skills with knowledge of hospitality trends and tools.
  • Ability to travel as requested, not to exceed 20% of time
  • Ability to work independently and self-driven
