Seeking an experienced hotel Sales Manager for a Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group Property.


  • Proactively contact prospective companies for groups and corporate business.
  • Will be expected to focus sales activities on gaining extended stay business.
  • Applicants will be expected to find and book new Local Negotiated business.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales team members to ensure sales efforts are coordinated. Brain storm with the team on how to generate new business, and maintain current business.
  • Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and how to sell against them.
  • Ensure business booked is within the hotel's goals. Close the best opportunities for each property based on market conditions and individual property needs.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence). Transfer accurate, complete, and timely information to property in accordance with brand standards.
  • Drive customer loyalty through excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Serve the customer by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet their needs. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand Hilton brand and company culture.
  • Follow up on opportunities uncovered by business development.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Effectively leverage other Sales Office resources and administrative/support staff to achieve personal and team related revenue goals.
  • Establish clear expectations for customers and properties throughout the sales process.
  • Effectively resolves guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process.
  • Must understand Revenue Management
  • Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.


  • Minimum of 1 year hotel Sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Hilton experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computer and computational ability.
  • Must be able to prioritize sales activities
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Willing to "pitch-in" and help coworkers with their job duties and be a team player.
