Role responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with other hotel team members to ensure sales efforts are coordinated. Brainstorm with the team on how to generate new business, and maintain current business. Track all leads in sales CRM.
  • Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and how to sell against them.
  • Ensure business booked is within the hotel's goals. Close the best opportunities for each property based on market conditions and individual property needs.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence). Transfer accurate, complete, and timely information to property in accordance with brand standards.
  • Drive customer loyalty through excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Serve the customer by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet their needs. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Follow up on opportunities uncovered by business development.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Effectively leverage other Sales Office resources and administrative/support staff to achieve personal and team related revenue goals.
  • Establish clear expectations for customers and properties throughout the sales process.
  • Effectively resolves guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

Director of Sales Education and Experience:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited University in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or unrelated major
  • 4-years experience in hotel management operations or sales & marketing OR 4-year Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or unrelated major
  • 2-years experience in hotel management operations and/or sales & marketing

This position is for a brand new HILTON BRANDED HOTEL! In addition, this role includes: on-boarding support, continued investment in YOU via sales and leadership training, tools and resources to support business development and customer engagement.
