 This position will be proactivly selling 2 hotels in Moab; the Fairfield Inn & Suites and the new Springhill Suites by Marriott.  These properties will share an amazing pool recreation area and are in a prime location for guests of the National/State Parks in the Canyonlands area.  

  • Conduct outside sales calls, qualifying clients and meeting needs.  Primary focus is proactively selling to local and non-local companies coming to the area.
  • Establish and maintain close contact with top accounts, and target accounts, through appointments, phone calls, tours, correspondence, and business lunches. 
  • Qualify leads and prospects gained from cold calls, sales blitzes, and other sources.
  • Work closely with all hotel departments by communicating and coordinating all sales information.
  • Create and execute montly/quarterly action plans (SMART) and that enable you to meet your bonus goals.
  • Attend and participate in weekly Sales Meetings as well as training seminars and other meetings as requested by management.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with competitor hotels, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce.
  • Participate in community activities, employee functions and guest events.
  • Attend company meetings as requested by General Manager.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Hospitality Management Degree beneficial
